Disabling and Removing Un-Needed Windows Startup Entries
Posted By nick on Thursday February 25, 2010

Removing or disabling un-needed software from starting on bootup is easy.

 - Download TuneUp Utilities and load their free trial software.
 - Go to the TuneUp Startup Manager and disable any un-needed software from starting up.

Tips for disabling software:
 - You will learn what software you need and what you don't need over time
 - If you uncheck a box, logout, log back on and notice a needed function is missing, go back in a re-enable that software to startup when your computer boots.
 - A normal computer may have 10, 20, even 30+ startup entries, you probably only need two or three of these.

Take these few steps and your computer should run noticeably faster after disabling un-need startup entires.
